Nowadays after all the 3rd quarter write-off announcements from many banks, sub-prime has been mentioned less on TV and newspapers. George Soros, called "a superstar among money managers" by The New York Times, shares the investment strategies he uses. In The Alchemy of Finance, George Soros describes his theory of reflexivity. I haven't read through Parameswaran's argument, but it sounds similar to the argument that George Soros makes in the Alchemy of Finance. The Alchemy of Finance made a big impression on me 15 years ago. Perhaps it was a book that was in the right place at the right time.
